Treatments with injectable fillers and Botox are the most popular and minimally invasive aesthetic procedures worldwide. Fillers and Botox can actually target and help improve the signs of aging found deep beneath the skin, which include sunken looks, wrinkles, creases and sagging skin. Fillers and Botox can help upkeep the youthful appearance that is slipping away. Although these injectable procedures are temporary with their effects lasting up to a few months, it somehow gives a great amount of comfort. These procedures are generally safe and the results are good when performed by experienced physicians. After the procedure, there is usually minimal downtime, but some may experience redness, bruising and swelling. Other complications are infection and embolism or vascular occlusion caused by a filler. Although it is unlikely for it to happen in experienced hands, it is a risk that needs to be disclosed and considered. There are definitive measures that need to be taken immediately if any complications occur. Therefore, even though these procedures seem simple, it is important to be in the care of an experienced physician who will not only give you a natural and youthful look but who’s also well equipped with the knowledge to handle these complications promptly.

I have relatively good skin with no signs of creasing on my face. My neck however, is a whole different story. I have two very deep lines on my neck and no matter how much skincare, serums or creams I slap on, the deep wrinkles don’t seem to be going anywhere. What treatments do you recommend?
